Our mission is pretty simple: To serve the businesses and residents of Everett, it's neighboring communities, and the northern Puget Sound region. Most of our staff was born here, and the northern Puget Sound is our home. NorthSound 1380 is a sports-based radio station, but that shouldn't stop us from getting involved in as many community issues as we can. Everett is not a bedroom community of Seattle. It's our intent to move the center of economic and social gravity away from Seattle over time, and to take a leadership role in issues that will enable Everett and its surrounding communities to further develop their independent identities.

We believe the strength of a community is measured in-part by the diversity of its local media. Rather than hear messages and stories from metro AM, FM and TV stations about issues that concern residents of Seattle and King County, we believe now more than ever Seattle and King County residents should be hearing about our corner of the Puget Sound. Over time, it's our intention to fill that vital role while providing information to residents in our communities that they can use to make their efforts more coordinated and impactful.
